Molesworth Street Multi-Million-Dollar Development
Supreme Construction Taranaki is currently overseeing a large-scale development on Molesworth Street for a long-standing client. This complex project involves constructing a sealed building within an existing structure, requiring advanced engineering solutions. One of the primary challenges is extensive earthquake strengthening, which includes anchor piles driven 11 metres into the ground.
Collaborating with Red Jacket Engineering for design and structural engineering, and Spark Engineering for welding and structural assembly, the project involves adding one and a half storeys to the existing building. The final result will feature a luxury apartment with a formal lounge on the top floor and a three-bedroom, two-bathroom living space with a swimming and spa pool area below.
Initially delayed due to council and iwi considerations, the project is now progressing steadily. The first two floors of commercial tenancies are expected to be completed by March 2025, with the apartment finalised by mid-2025.
Worley Office Block Refurbishment & Tower Renovation
Supreme Construction Taranaki recently completed the refurbishment of a three-storey office block, now leased by Worley. This project involved a full interior and exterior overhaul, ensuring the space met modern commercial standards.
Following this success, the company has now taken on an even more ambitious project—a comprehensive renovation of an eight-storey tower on the same site. This development involves significant structural, exterior, and interior upgrades, with completion expected by late 2025.
